The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety ) Order 2005 – known as the RRO or Fire Safety Order, places a legal requirement on those in control of the premises to take steps to ensure the safety of persons using the premises from fire.
Fire Risk Assessments
We carry out Fire Risk Assessments in line with the Fire Safety Order and give you a report with our findings along with recommended timescales for any remedial actions. All non-domestic premises need a FRA; this includes all types of workplaces, as well as the communal areas of residential buildings, such as blocks of flats or converted houses. If an alarm or extinguishers are needed we can recommend suitably qualified and accredited technicians to quote for installation.

As part of the assessment we look at any training needs you may have. We then carry out Fire Marshal training to ensure your staff are able to act quickly and safely in the event of an emergency.
Fire Strategy/Fire Management Plan
Your business should have fire safety strategy as part of your health & safety policy documents. Working with your management team we can write this for you, so you can be sure your staff or any other relevant persons such as guests, customers or visitors can exit safely.
If necessary we can help you write Personal Emergency Evacuation Plans (PEEP) for anyone who may need help during an evacuation.
